VMware Explore Barcelona 2024 presentations now available

11.17.2024 by William Lam // 2 Comments

I came to learn during the week of VMware Explore Barcelona 2024, that the breakout sessions were not going to be recorded, but the presentations would be available only shortly after the conference. I was just reminded by a colleague who asked if I could update my  VMware Explore 2024 Session URL Github repo, so that it included the published presentations (PDF format), so it could be easily searchable by the community.

As you can see from the screenshot of my repo, there are a total of 155 presentations that have been published from VMware Explore Barcelona 2024 and into the following 5 categories:

  • Cloud Infrastructure (124)
  • Innovation (10)
  • Modern Applications (12)
  • Network, Security & Load Balancing (12)
  • Software-Defined Edge (11)

While the majority of the sessions were a repeat from VMware Explore Las Vegas 2024, I know many of the presenters had updated their content and so it might be good to re-watch the Las Vega sessions (which you can find the full list HERE) and grab the latest presentations from Barcelona.

On-Demand session URLs for VMware Explore Barcelona 2023

11.12.2023 by William Lam // 1 Comment

Hard to believe VMware Explore Barcelona just concluded a couple of days ago! Hats off to the VMware Explore production team who have already published a large majority of the breakout session recordings including the presentation PDF! On Friday, I had shared an update and out of the 269 sessions, only 58 had not been published.

As of writing this blog post, 249 are now available with only 20 sessions that have not been published and may not due to the type of content. As you can see in the screenshot below, I have also aggregated the current Top 10 sessions by views, congrats to all the folks in #NSCB2084BCN who is currently holding the #1 spot for now 🙂

First look at Project Keswick

08.28.2023 by William Lam // 2 Comments

VMware Edge Cloud Orchestrator (VECO) was announced at VMware Explore US last week and one of the components that it is built on is using something called Project Keswick.

In fact, at VMware Explore, Project Keswick was officially launched and is now available for customers to try out! I was fortunate enough to attend the Project Keswick technical deep dive session in person, but if you were not able to make the session or you were not at VMware Explore, the session recording is already available online for free to watch #VIB2169LV Scaling and Deploying ESXi at the Edge with Desired State Management and GitOps.
